For patients with high blood pressure and associated metabolic risk factors.
High blood pressure often develops silently. The goal is not simply a lower BP reading once—it is consistent, sustainable blood-pressure control.
After assessment, selected Ayurvedic therapies may be incorporated depending on BP level, age, cardiovascular risk, symptoms and associated conditions.
Appropriate calories, weight management, lower excess sodium, more vegetables and fibre, appropriate protein, better carbohydrate quality and reduction of highly processed foods.
Walking, aerobic activity, strength training, yoga, pranayama and stress-management practices, progressively introduced when clinically suitable.
Ayurvedic medicines may be prescribed according to individual assessment. Patients taking antihypertensives should not stop or reduce medication independently; BP monitoring guides medically supervised changes.
Research by Dr. Rahul Mandole and colleagues:
Sane R, Patil S, Hinge N, Kulthe N, Ambulkar S, Mandole R. “To Study Efficacy of Blood Pressure Management Program (BPMP) in Male Elderly Patients with Known Case of Hypertension: An Observational Study.” The study evaluated an Ayurveda-based BP management strategy incorporating Panchakarma and reported reductions in systolic BP, diastolic BP and mean arterial pressure over approximately 90 days.
Evidence note: A 2025 systematic review/meta-analysis of Ayurvedic interventions for essential hypertension found substantial heterogeneity and did not demonstrate statistically significant pooled BP reductions versus placebo or standard antihypertensive treatment. This should be acknowledged honestly: current evidence does not justify claiming that Panchakarma replaces standard antihypertensive therapy.
Patient-friendly explanation: Blood pressure is a long-term health metric. Our program combines BP monitoring, nutrition, physical activity, stress management and personalized treatment to support long-term cardiovascular health.
