For patients with coronary artery disease, coronary risk factors and documented arterial plaque.
Coronary artery disease develops over time as plaque builds up in the coronary arteries. Managing it requires more than focusing on one number. Our program takes an integrated approach to cardiovascular risk, metabolic health, diet, physical capacity and lifestyle.
A physician-designed Panchakarma protocol selected according to the patient's clinical condition. Possible therapies may include Snehana, Swedana, Basti, Hrudayadhara and other supportive Ayurvedic procedures as clinically appropriate.
Personalized cardiac-metabolic nutrition focusing on calorie and portion control, appropriate protein, fibre-rich foods, better carbohydrate quality, reduced excess saturated/trans fats, weight and waist management, and blood sugar/lipid management.
Progressive exercise based on cardiac status, exercise tolerance, symptoms, age and fitness. Stress-test/clinical findings may be considered where appropriate. Emphasis is on safe progression.
Personalized Ayurvedic medicines may be prescribed based on clinical assessment. Conventional cardiac medicines should not be stopped or reduced without the treating physician's supervision.

Patient-friendly explanation: Think of heart health like maintaining a road system. Panchakarma is one component of the overall program. Diet, exercise, weight management, metabolic control and appropriate medicines work together to support cardiovascular health.
